Brian was born in the UK and is a qualified mechanical fitter. He served his apprenticeship at Austin Beech in England where he gained experience in fitting and machining. Brian moved to Germany for construction and shutdown projects on oil and gas plants and during this time gained valuable experience.
On returning to the UK Brian went established as successful building business until he emigrated to Australia. Brian arrived in Perth 2008 and started working for IPC as a mechanical fitter and rigger. In 2011 Brian started to supervise shutdowns for IPC and was employed as a full-time mechanical supervisor. In the last ten years Brian has been involved in the supervising and planning of in excess of 30 major shutdowns, during this time he has moved to managing shutdowns and has taken on the position of Mechanical Superintendent.
