Scope of Work

The construction project encompassed the establishment of a reinforced concrete ring beam foundation and the fabrication of metal Core ten (Weathering Steel) decorated leaves.

A significant challenge encountered by the project team was to ensure that all the intricate shapes and lines laser-cut into the leaves were executed in a manner that prevented the objects from dislodging during the cutting process.

Upon completing the welding process, meticulous care was taken to ensure that all welds were executed in a manner that would facilitate the rusting of the weld metal at the same pace as the weathering steel. The decision to opt for weathering steel was influenced by the client's preference for a rustic, natural appearance.

This material was chosen due to its ability to develop and regenerate a protective surface layer continuously when exposed to the elements, eliminating the need for additional coatings such as paint or galvanization. This process allows the steel to rust naturally, forming the protective coating as desired by the client
